| Abstract: | Broward County leased a portion of Tigertail Lake in Dania Beach to BCC in 1975 so the college could begin a sailing program. A portable trailer and small boathouse were added later. The Otto M. Burckhardt Conference Center, dedicated in November 1986, was constructed for classes, workshops, seminars, meetings, and conferences with about 40 conferees. | |
